Eight days of prayer with Pedro Poveda

A man of very rich interior life, contemplative and dynamic at the same time, Pedro Poveda was marked by a constant coming and going from the depths of his being to the daily commitment, from prayerful listening to engaging with the emerging issues and reality of his time.A constant feature of his multifaceted existence was the spiritual accompaniment of a great diversity of people. Many times this accompaniment was through letters, but later some of these texts were edited and submitted by the author for publication. They reveal the profound dialogue that took place between his spiritual experience and that of his correspondents. It was a mutual learning process, and what was conceived in concrete circumstances, both in the life of the author and of those who entrusted themselves to his guidance, would be transformed, with the passage of time, into key texts of the incarnation spirituality inherent to the Teresian Association.In this brief synthesis in dialogue with the Word, there is a challenge to ones own prayerful experience, the most genuine aspiration of Poveda.
